As such the results coming in upto now have put former president Donald J. Trump in the lead by 35 electoral votes bagging 214 to 179 as this update is being uploaded.
In the battleground state of Arizona Donald Trump is in the lead by a 0.1% margin aginst Kamala Harris with the final polls are expected to be posted anytime shortly. With the State of Oregan declaring the final results now, Kamala Harris gained another 8 electoral college votes she is at 187 votes aginst Donald Trump with 230. The former president leading at present, as both candidates are in a tough race in all the battleground states.
Update: As the 2024 US presidential run has been a tight race it might be several hours until the race can be called, as the votes from each county are being closely watched and the numbers released at the time of this update Donald Trump is very likely to win the presidency. For a Kamala Harris victory she has to win in the battleground states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
