Colombo, 17 November 2025 – The government and private sector are expanding renewable energy projects across Sri Lanka, aiming to produce sustainable, cost-effective power. New solar parks and wind farms are under development, particularly in Northern and Eastern provinces. Analysts believe this will lower energy costs, create employment, and position the country as a regional leader in green energy initiatives.
